HSBC Tree Top Walk

Heard so much about the TTW.. but didnt get to go until last Sunday 19 March 06. Was amongst the first few to reach, so by the time all gather around, it was about 930am liao. But nonetheless, all of us were so enthusiastic about the walk..

First, a little info regarding the HSBC TTW...

The HSBC TTW was officially launched by the Minister of State for Finance and Transport, Mrs. Lim Hwee Hua, on 5th November 2004. The HSBC TreeTop Walk is accessible from MacRitchie Reservoir Park via 1) MacRitchie Nature Trail (indicated as Route 3 on map) or from 2) Venus Drive, off Upper Thomson Road.

The distance to the entrance of the TreeTop Walk is approximately 4.5 km (1.5-2 hrs walk) from the reservoir park and 2.5 km (45 mins- 1 hr walk) from the carpark at Venus Drive. Therefore, a round trip including the TreeTop Walk is about 7 to 10 km (3-5 hours depending on your walking pace).

We started off with a group of 17 persons. Then subsequently due to some reasons, the final no. of people who walked the whole trail of 11km was only 14. Well, not that bad either rite? At least it's an experience for all of us, and for some, it's the 2nd or 3rd time experience liao. For some nice pictures, refer below..

Anyway, after that, we went for a good lunch at the nearby LONG HOUSE at Thomson Road. Thereafter.. all head home to rest their ka-s... hahaha
