Dumpling Festival 端午节
端午节 Duan Wu Jie, commonly known as the Dumpling Festival, is a day for commemorating a Chinese poet Qu Yuan and other national patriots. This day falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, and it reminds oneself of one's responsibilities and duties to one's country. Chinese eat rice dumplings and participate in dragon boat competitions on this day.
And usually during this period of time, dumplings or bak zhang is the HOT item now. Just like bak kwa during CNY period, bak zhang's prices will doubled one week before and after the festival. Some buy to pray pray, some buy to eat, some buy because the rest all buying.

I bet LFY made a lot of ppl fat this season! Hahah!
Luckily for me, I got sick and did not have much of an appetite to down much of those. Phew...!
